HOSPITALITY ADVISORY · INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT
Independent judgment for hospitality decisions that matter.
Founder-led advisory for owners, General Managers and senior hospitality leaders who need a clear second view before an important decision becomes difficult or expensive to reverse.
Why advisory
Sometimes the team is capable. The decision is still difficult.
Hospitality leaders rarely lack opinions. The harder problem is knowing which factors genuinely change the decision, which risks deserve attention and whether an attractive proposal will survive real operations.
Cristian Marino Advisory provides an independent perspective without replacing the people already responsible for the property, project or team. The purpose is to create enough distance to challenge assumptions, test operational reality and return a conclusion that can be used.
When an independent view helps
Two strong finalists
The Executive Chef candidates both interview well, but the operation needs more than a good interview. Which profile is more likely to lead this specific resort successfully?
An attractive concept
A new restaurant, menu or F&B concept looks convincing on paper. Before committing capital and internal momentum, does the operating reality support the idea?
Conflicting internal views
Ownership, operations and culinary leadership see the same issue differently. An external view can separate the decision from internal position and hierarchy.
Focused services
Three services. Three different professional questions.
Second Opinion
“Should we proceed?” Independent judgment on a defined hospitality decision, proposal, concept, concern or investment before commitment.
For a decision already on the table when the client wants a trusted external view before committing.
Executive Chef Assessment
“Who is right for this operation?” Structured professional judgment when selecting or evaluating senior culinary leadership.
For owners and senior leaders who need to look beyond the interview and assess leadership, judgment and fit for a specific operation.
Cristian Marino Review
“What works, what does not and what should change?” A confidential professional review of a culinary concept, menu, positioning or hospitality proposition already developed.
For businesses that want an experienced external examination of what they have built, where it is coherent and what should change.
Selected Engagements
Some projects require more than a defined service.
Cristian selectively considers substantial hospitality projects requiring direct involvement, on-site presence or a longer advisory relationship. These may include openings, repositioning, culinary direction and leadership transitions.
Each inquiry is considered individually. An engagement proceeds only when the project, timing, decision-making authority and scope are aligned.
Professional foundation
Built from operating responsibility.
Cristian Marino brings nearly thirty years of international hospitality experience across hotels, resorts, restaurants and luxury cruise operations.
His career includes Executive Chef appointments with international hospitality brands such as Radisson Blu and InterContinental, openings and pre-openings across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and ownership-led projects with direct responsibility for significant operating and project budgets.
“Every engagement is shaped around a defined decision, a clear scope and an outcome the client can use.”
Cristian Marino
Start with the decision.
A concise first message is enough. Explain what you need to decide, what has already been prepared and the timing around the decision. Sensitive documents do not need to be shared at the beginning.
