2 June Italian Republic Day: the point of view of an Italian chef who lives in the Maldives

The Italian Republic Day is an Italian national celebratory day established to commemorate the birth of the Italian Republic. It is celebrated every year on June 2nd.

The official ceremonial of the celebration of Rome provides for the solemn raising of the flag at the Altare della Patria and the homage to the Unknown Soldier ,with the deposition of a laurel wreath by the President of the Republic in the presence of the highest offices of the Italian State.

After the performance of the Hymn by Mameli, the “Frecce Tricolori” (Tricolour Arrows, officially known 313th Acrobatic Training Group), National Aerobatic Team cross the skies of Rome.

Considering myself an ambassador of Italian cuisine abroad,In my own way I thought of celebrating the Italian national holiday and to introduce you to some traditional Italian dishes through photographs.
