Cristian Marino Advisory · Cristian Marino Review
An independent review of what you have built.
A confidential remote review for restaurants, resorts and hospitality culinary concepts, conducted by Cristian Marino through document analysis, direct conversation and a written assessment.
What it is
A second view of the concept, menu and operation behind it.
Cristian Marino Review is designed for hospitality businesses that want an experienced external perspective on a culinary concept, menu, positioning or professional proposition.
The purpose is to examine the material, understand the thinking behind it, challenge assumptions where necessary and return a clear assessment the client can use.
What can be reviewed
The culinary proposition as a professional system.
Concept & identity
Restaurant or outlet concept, culinary identity, intended guest and the clarity of the proposition.
Menu & positioning
Menu architecture, range, balance, language, pricing logic and consistency with the desired market position.
Operational credibility
Whether the proposition appears coherent with the people, operation, constraints and commercial reality behind it.
Leadership clarity
How clearly culinary and management leadership understand the concept, priorities and trade-offs.
Professional coherence
Whether concept, menu, communication, leadership and business context support one credible direction.
Defined concerns
Specific questions identified by ownership, management or culinary leadership before the review begins.
A clear working process
Define the scope before the review begins.
01 · Initial enquiry
Start with the property, concept, stage of development and reason for seeking an external review. Sensitive documents are not required at this stage.
02 · Scope & confidentiality
Agree what will be examined, what information is required and whether an NDA or other confidentiality arrangement should be in place before documents are shared.
03 · Analysis
The agreed material is examined against the scope, context and stated objectives.
04 · Direct conversation
Where relevant, Cristian speaks with the Chef, Restaurant Manager, F&B leadership, General Manager, ownership or other people responsible for the concept.
05 · Judgment & report
The material and conversations are considered together in a written review with a clear conclusion.
Confidential by default
Your material remains your material.
Menus, concepts, internal documents and conversations may contain sensitive information. They are reviewed only to form the agreed assessment for the commissioning client.
Where the nature of the material or the client’s internal policy requires it, a mutual or client-provided NDA can be considered before confidential documents are shared.
No client concept, idea or confidential material is treated as something to reproduce, appropriate or disclose. The role of the review is to examine and respond, not to take ownership of what is being reviewed.
What the client receives.
A written professional report designed to be useful rather than decorative.
Observations
What appears strong, what is unclear and what deserves attention within the agreed scope.
Interpretation
Why the identified points matter in the context of the concept, operation and business.
Recommendations
Priorities, questions and practical next steps where appropriate.
The report belongs to the commissioning client and can remain entirely confidential.
Clear limits make the review more credible.
A remote review does not claim that Cristian has tasted dishes, observed live service, inspected hygiene systems or physically experienced a property when he has not. It is not a food safety certification, regulatory inspection, mystery visit, star rating or hotel classification.
If a question cannot be responsibly assessed remotely, or if the available information is insufficient for a credible conclusion, that limitation is stated rather than hidden.
Would an experienced external review help?
Start with a concise description of the business, what you would like reviewed and why. Confidential documents do not need to be shared in the first message.
