World vegan day is celebrated today.
Also here in the Maldives we wanted to give our contribution to this event.
I don’t consider myself vegan, but I have a lot of respect for those who are, some of the benefits that are obtained with this diet are:
– Less stress;
– Reduced possibility of food poisoning;
– Reduced environmental impact;
– No animal suffering;
But as in all diets there are pros and cons so even in a vegan diet we find them.
I prefer a typical Mediterranean diet and as I describe in my book The Black and white “smile” .
I eat a bit of everything, even if for the most part , the daily choice is rich in fruit and vegetables.
So dear Friends the choice is yours!
